Throughout the quarter, we connected with professionals in the forensics industry and molecular imaging communities at key industry events. At IACME and FAME, we showcased our portable and mobile X-ray systems, highlighting solutions designed to support the needs of forensic professionals. At WMIC, we presented our family of new Microfocus X-ray Generators for advanced imaging and inspection applications.
Q3 also marked an exciting digital milestone as our company's official LinkedIn page surpassed 10,000 followers, reflecting the continued growing interest and engagement from professionals all over the world following Source-Ray and our work in X-ray technology. We also took time to celebrate our team with our company’s annual summer BBQ, bringing colleagues together to connect and enjoy time outside of our day-to-day work.

The New SB-50-500-BW-0.020 Microfocus X-ray Generator
Meet the SB-50-500-BW-0.020 Microfocus X-ray Generator, the latest addition to the Source-Ray SB-50 family of X-ray generators. Engineered for exceptional imaging performance, it features a 20 µm focal spot, 50 kV output, 500 µA emission current, and a beryllium-window X-ray tube, delivering high-resolution imaging in a compact, OEM-ready design.
The low-attenuation beryllium window allows more low-energy, or “soft,” X-rays to reach the sample, making the generator particularly well suited for imaging thin or low-density materials. By allowing these lower-energy X-rays to pass through with less attenuation, the system can help reveal differences in material density and composition, supporting improved image contrast and the visualization of fine details.
Combining microfocus performance with a compact design, the SB-50-500-BW-0.020 is suited for a wide range of advanced imaging, inspection, and analytical applications across multiple industries.

Q3 was a busy quarter for Source-Ray’s industry engagement, with participation in three events serving distinct professional communities. IACME
Source-Ray exhibited at the annual conference of the International Association of Coroners and Medical Examiners (IACME), held July 19th–21st at the Golden Nugget Hotel in Las Vegas. At the event, we showcased our portable and mobile X-ray systems, highlighting solutions designed to provide flexible imaging capabilities for medical examiners & forensic applications. The conference also provided an opportunity to learn more about the imaging needs of professionals working in the field and engage with industry peers.
FAME
At the Florida Association of Medical Examiners (FAME) 2026 Annual Educational Conference, held August 12th – 14th at the Hard Rock Hotel in Daytona Beach, Florida, Source-Ray presented its portable & mobile X-ray systems to forensic professionals from the state of Florida. The event offered a valuable setting to discuss practical imaging solutions & highlight the flexibility of portable & mobile X-ray technology for forensic imaging applications.
WMIC 2026
Source-Ray exhibited at the World Molecular Imaging Congress (WMIC) Annual Global Meeting, held September 8th to 11th, 2026, at the Calvin L. Rampton Salt Palace Convention Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. At WMIC, we showcased our SB-50-500-BW-0.20 and SB-80-250-0.015 Microfocus X-ray Generators, highlighting their small focal spot capabilities and potential for high-resolution laboratory imaging applications. The event provided an opportunity to introduce our Microfocus X-ray technology to professionals working in molecular imaging from around the world.
