Product Spotlight

With our short-leg configuration, Source-Ray's SR-130 and PowerMax 1260 portable X-ray systems are designed to perform seamlessly in restricted spaces. This allows our portable X-ray systems to be wheeled right up next to patients in hospital rooms, wards, and other smaller medical facilities, maximizing the utilization of limited space.
This quarter we also released the long-rail configuration for our new lightweight stands, giving our customers additional flexibility in tailoring our systems to their needs.
Both the short leg and long-rail configurations show our commitment to constantly innovating and meeting the ever evolving demands of the portable/mobile X-ray industry.
Breaking New Ground: SR-130 Showcased on Discovery Channel
The highlight of the quarter was our SR-130 portable X-ray system, which was featured on the Discovery Channel’s hit show "Expedition Unknown".
In this special episode of "Dive for America's Pirate Loot", host Josh Gates and his team utilized the SR-130 for non-destructive testing (NDT) to examine ancient artifacts and uncover hidden details that would have otherwise remained unseen. Josh and the team braved the shark-infested waters off Cape Cod to dive the world's only confirmed pirate wreck. The lightweight and portable design of the SR-130 made it the perfect companion for the field, delivering high-quality imaging in one of the most challenging environments.
The inclusion of the SR-130 in Expedition Unknown highlights its reputation as a reliable and advanced tool for professionals in various industries, including archaeology, forensics, and medical diagnostics. Its ability to deliver exceptional imaging with minimal radiation exposure underscores Source-Ray’s commitment to innovation and safety.

Trade Shows & Other Industry Events
At the beginning of this year we set a strategic goal of attending trade events, not only in the USA but also around the world, in an effort to stay current with industry trends and continue to grow into new and existing market segments.
In October, we exhibited our industry-leading X-ray generators at the ASNT 2024 in Caesar’s Forum, Las Vegas, allowing us to showcase our latest products and innovations for the non-destructive testing (NDT) industry.
At the same time, our team also flew to beautiful Cape Town, South Africa for Africa Health 2024 to exhibit Source-Ray's PowerMax 1260 and X-ray generators designed for medical and industrial applications.
In November, our team exhibited at the American Portable Diagnostics Association Fall Expo (APDA 2024) in Kansas City, Missouri.
During the show, we were proud to exhibit the PowerMax 1260, our most powerful portable X-ray system mounted on our new lightweight stand with Varex Imaging's LUMEN 4336W Flat Panel Detector utilizing their Nexus software.
In December we attended RSNA 2024 in McCormick Place in Chicago, IL meeting with industry professionals from around the world.
